Getting ready for surgery is never an easy thing. But my pre-op appt was so great with these nurses. Mitchell (aka DR) did the best ultrasound of my heart. Blanca did my EKG making me laugh and Ron did my X-ray. Dr. Ishaaya and his crew are the best. Wish other nurses and Dr offices could show this much love for their jobs. Tuesday April 4 th 2023I have been coming here since 2020 when I relocated back to Los Angeles. My asthma changed not for the better after relocating.Dr. Abraham  Ishaaya, provides on-site testing and imaging with same or next-day results, and he can diagnose and treat conditions without delay for the lungs, heart, hormones, micronutrient deficiencies, allergies, sleep apnea, and more. Everything is in office , labs downstairs. Parking is in a parking structure I always pay 8.00 , nice , clean , secureIf I could personally rate this entire office A 10     i’d do so.  Let me say , who has ever been to an appointment wrong time day possibly? Well I showed up to a busy off at 11:30 am , a day early lol. However, I was kindly asked to sit down. I was assisted within 10 minutes. The receptionist said my doctor would see me. Bonus. Observing waiting patiently, busy office, huge team that plays as a team player.  When was the last time you spoke to those tending to you. I had my mother in law with me who has Dementia. Blanca was so kind to offer her water and conversation. Even under a stressful schedule taking me on. State of thee Art Doctor, Office ! . More

I had been searching for a PCP for a long time and have been so happy to have found Dr. Ishaaya, as well as Melissa, the NP.  Both take their time with you during your appointment, call with lab results very quickly, and sometimes even text.  It’s great!!  When I had COVID, they checked in on me at home more and made daily assessments of my needs.  Really can’t recommend this office enough. Leaving this review after someone asked recently for a referral to a doctor. I’ve been going here for about 8 years and have always had a good experience. Over the last year both my husband and I had some serious health issues. My husband was hospitalized at cedars and while Dr. Ishaaya doesn’t even perform surgeries there, upon hearing of my husband being hospitalized, stopped by to visit him! Melissa the nurse practitioner there is absolutely phenomenal! She genuinely cares about her patients and went above and beyond with my husband’s care. She advocated for us with our insurance company and even a drug manufacturer. I have never felt more cared about by a health care professional than I did with her. Thank you! More

I was seen here for preop screening. I am a nurse myself, so I know a fair bit about running a medical office, and can recognize when one is not running well. I was beyond impressed with the level of efficiency in this office. To say the least, it ran like a fine tuned instrument. Had pre-op clearance appointment. I was an hour early and they were able to take me in at that time. Loved the pre-registration done prior to visit with my phone, which i feel is much better than to sit and fill out papers at office. This medical center provided me with one of the best doctor visits I have experienced. The reception staff are welcoming, efficient, and on top of their duties. They contacted me a week before my visit and the day prior to confirm. They also sent me a link to conduct my check-in before my visit, which eliminated my wait time in the lobby. I recommend taking advantage of this if you are a first-time visitor. The waiting room was very clean and private with a media center that displayed health-relevant slides that were both informative and interesting. The nurse who took my vitals was very kind and explained my vitals clearly. She also asked health history questions in a non-invasive way, which made answering easy. The doctor who conducted my consultation was extremely knowledgeable and very reassuring to both me and my wife. She provided expert insight into my situation, but was also very relatable, making me feel confident and comfortable as her patient. I am very grateful for the medical staff at Dr. Ishaaya's office. Summary:The doctor listens well and offers reasonable solutions. He is available over text message, which is very convenient.Details:For my appointment, a physician’s assistant came in first to understand why I scheduled an appointment and order any tests I needed. Someone then came in to administer a pulmonary breathing test. Dr. Avi then came in to discuss the results and how to move forward. The entire process went very quickly and there was very little ’wait time’. Both the PA and Dr. Avi listened to me well and offered reasonable solutions. He gave me natural medication and prescribed something stronger, as well, to see if either of those could help me recover when my breathing issue was particularly severe. He also said that he was available over text message so that I can avoid unnecessary trips to the office, which both take time and money. I really appreciated this.After the appointment, I texted him with questions about using the medication and also about a referral for a breathing coach. He responded to both over text. So convenient! I came to Dr Ishaaya as my new PCP because I had been unhappy with my last one and needed a change. Wow what a 180 from where I was! The NP Michelle spent so much time with me collecting medical history and gatherIng necessary information for my chart. She seemed thorough, kind, friendly and I didn’t feel rushed at all. She even asked if there was anything else I wanted to add that was covered before she was done. Such a difference from my last doc office who I’d often find myself leaving there and realizing they’d never asked me how I was doing. Dr Ishaaya was compassionate and spent so much time with me as well hearing about my various heath concerns and suggesting a few things we could do to ease my mind. I didn’t feel pressured at all and felt in good hands. I had several scans that were all performed in office and very quickly. I didn’t wait more than 10 seconds (seriously) between scans. And within minutes the doc was back with me to review all. I loved having the immediate feedback vs waiting for an imaging center to send results than having to chase down a doc to get answers. This office even does bloodwork but I was the last patient of the day and it was too late to do labs there so he wrote me a prescription, which I was fine with. Other all I’m very pleased with my switch in pcp and only bummer I didn’t do it sooner! More

I was having issues with my asthma and a friend recommended Dr. Ishaaya, I couldn’t have been more pleased with my experience. I highly recommend Dr. Ishaaya, who is exceptional along with his staff. I called Dr. Ishaaya’s office and explained my medical emergency. They were able to accommodate to my busy schedule and fit me in that SAME day for not only an examination by Dr. Ishaaya, but also scheduled me for imaging tests despite the fact that I would be a new patient. Dr. Ishaaya gave me a full work up and ordered labs/imaging. He took an extended amount of time to review my imaging results, and answered all my questions (a lot of them!) with such patience and kindness. You will not find a doctor more attentive, kind, and thorough as Dr. Ishaaya. I haven't been to the Dr in a few years because I hate the process. This place has made the experience easier, I didn't haven't to wait 3 weeks to set up an appointment which was a huge plus, I set it up the next week. Everyone was friendly and they have texting options which is also a big benefit since I'm not a huge phone talker and it's easier to text and not be on hold. After 2 tests I've had done, the doctor has been very prompt on letting me know the results and calling me the next day which saves the annoyance of waiting. Overall I've been impressed so far. Parking is the only negative but it's not that much, there is a lot next door that's about $4 an hour max of $10 More
