He earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore (UM-Baltimore). For his post-graduate training, Dr. Ishaaya was an internal medicine resident at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Then, he completed a pulmonary and critical care fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center as well.
