WHAT IS A LUNG TEST?

truSculpt® flex

ABOUT

The new truSculpt® flex is a muscle-sculpting device that strengthens, firms, and tones the abdominal, buttocks, and thigh muscles. Using Multi-Directional Stimulation (MDS), truSculpt flex uses a unique method of muscle contraction using electric current. This technology can strengthen and improve muscle tone by replicating twisting, squatting, and crunching actions. truSculpt flex can be adjusted to meet each person’s shape, fitness level, and goals. Additionally, truSculpt covers up to eight areas at the same time for enhanced body coverage and definition.

Best Candidates

truSculpt flex uses safe and effective technology for men and women who want more defined abs, buttocks, or thighs. truSculpt flex works for many different body types, no matter how large or small the targeted area. Candidates for this treatment can increase muscle tone or mass and get the physique they desire without surgery or excessive exercise. Optima MedSpa will discuss candidacy with patients based on their health and medical history. Patients with medical conditions, such as epilepsy, or who have cardiac pacemakers, defibrillators, or other implanted metallic or electronic devices are not recommended for treatment.

Your Consultation

What sets truSculpt flex apart from other body contouring procedures is the fully customizable approach. truSculpt flex is an innovative and noninvasive procedure that can treat up to eight areas in just one 45-minute session. During a private consultation, Optima MedSpa evaluates the problem areas and makes recommendations so patients can achieve the results they want. A consultation may include measuring body weight, circumference, and fat thickness to plan the sessions thoroughly. Photos may also be taken to help patients compare appearance before and after treatment.

Procedure Technique

To begin the truSculpt flex treatment, Optima MedSpa places up to 16 handpieces targeting multiple muscle groups, including the abdomen, buttocks, and thighs. truSculpt flex uses Multi-Directional Stimulation (MDS) technology to simulate different workouts in three different modes – prep, tone, and sculpt – by replicating twisting, squatting, and crunching movements to increase muscle mass.
The first treatment mode includes a twisting motion to carefully stretch and warm up the muscles, preparing the areas for the subsequent muscle contractions. The following mode causes a series of muscle contractions to build strength and endurance while the final mode is a series of faster, deeper contractions to increase muscle mass and basal metabolic rate (BMR). truSculpt flex technology is FDA approved to provide safe and consistent results for patients.

What To Expect

As the treatment begins, patients feel a gentle contraction in the targeted muscles. As the intensity increases, muscle contractions intensify but will remain comfortable. Post-procedure, patients may notice slight muscle soreness or tingling in the treated areas for a few hours, as well as tenderness for 24 – 72 hours.
Since truSculpt flex is a noninvasive procedure, it requires little to no recovery time. Patients can return to their day as usual after the treatment. Results can be seen in as little as four treatments while optimal results are visible 8 – 12 weeks after the last session.

FAQs

Does a truSculpt flex treatment hurt?

No, most patients do not find it painful. Most patients compare it to a warm light buzzing or tingling sensation along with the tightening contraction of the muscles. After a treatment session, most will experience muscle soreness, just like they'd feel after a hard workout. There is no downtime or recovery period, so you'll be able to immediately return to your normal schedule.

How long is a truSculpt flex treatment session?

Depending on the area(s) being targeted and treatment goals, most truSculpt sessions last about 30 – 45 minutes. Typically, when treating multiple body areas, sessions are around 45 minutes.

Is truSculpt flex safe?

Yes, it is. This noninvasive, nonsurgical body-redefining treatment is FDA-cleared as safe and effective. While some people can experience minor redness or tenderness in the treatment area afterward, these effects typically go away quickly, usually within about 24 hours.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of truSculpt sessions you’ll need depends on your starting body condition and your treatment goals. In general, most patients can achieve the best results with about 4 – 6 treatment sessions over 2 – 3 weeks.
